XChange 2017, Here We Come

It’s hard to believe three years ago we were at XChange, finalizing the selection of our second eCommerce platform- Demandware. The Blue Acorn team, similar to many merchants visiting Demandware XChange, was at a critical moment in the platform selection process. Immersing ourselves into the community of employees, partners, clients and prospects for three days made our decision easy. After XChange, we had to adopt Demandware. Fast-forward three years and our high expectations have been exceeded:

  • We have happy clients leveraging the platform and achieving rapid growth.
  • We have employees flexing their technical muscles and innovating faster than the competition.
  • We have the power of Salesforce behind us.
  • The next three years are going to be special. It starts with Demandware and Salesforce combining forces for Salesforce XChange (formerly Demandware XChange)! Both companies are known for amazing events, so the bar is high! Aside, from hanging out with Richard Branson, networking and booth duty (#15) the sessions I am looking forward to most are:

Content vs. Commerce: Finding the Right Balance
      Wednesday, May 17 from 1:15- 2:00 p.m.

Truly compelling content builds brand relationships, turning one-time shoppers into repeat buyers. But too little content leaves the shopper unsatisfied and too much confuses the path to purchase. This session will discuss strategies on finding the right content balance for both your customer and your internal resources.

Customer Stories: Heather Teasley, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams
      Wednesday, May 17 from 1:00 – 1:20 pm

Join our client Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Campground Experience as Heather Teasley, director of Web and eCommerce, shares the company’s success story.

Supercharging the Future of Retail with Commerce Cloud Einstein
      Wednesday, May 17 from 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.

This session will explore the exciting future of Commerce Cloud Einstein. Come discover our 2017 roadmap that builds on our personalization capabilities and powers the automation of manual tasks, saving retailers valuable time and money. Walk away from this session with dozens of ideas of how to inject the power of Artificial Intelligence into your commerce strategy of the future.

If you’re attending the show, come see us at booth #15. This year, we’re giving away of a stack of chips to a lucky winner, so come by for your chance to win. If you can’t make it this year, don’t miss our recap, which we’ll be publishing to the blog.
