It is with great excitement that I share with you the news of a new partnership for Blue Acorn. As we celebrate our seven-year anniversary this month, we also embark on a new chapter for our company. For the past seven years, Magento has been the only eCommerce platform we’ve worked with, and has put a lot of wind in our sails, allowing us to deliver compelling solutions to our clients.
Today, we are formally announcing our partnership with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware), a SaaS-based commerce cloud solution that is trusted by many of today’s leading brands. In mid-2014 we began a process of evaluating and scoring several mid-market to enterprise platforms based on a long list of weighted requirements. Not only did we spend a great deal of time getting to know each of those companies intimately and the teams responsible for their success, we also spent time talking in great depth to current clients, former clients, employees (past and current), technology partners, implementation partners, as well as consultants in the space. This resulted in a thoroughly vetted set of options for Blue Acorn to evaluate in great detail, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) ultimately rose to the top.
The addition of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) marks a new chapter for our organization, and its SaaS cloud commerce capabilities gives us another strong weapon in our arsenal to solving our clients’ problems. We will continue to invest in and grow our Magento practice, as well as our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) practice, and we are excited about being able to offer our clients the two best eCommerce platforms in our space.
Over the past seven years, we’ve put ourselves in the position to work with some incredible clients and technologies. None of which would have partnered with us without the reputation and namesake our team has worked so hard to build. Market demand for Blue Acorn’s partnership is validation that we are indeed doing great things. Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s (formerly Demandware) selective vetting process is impressive, and their steadfast alignment toward customer success aligns very much with our organization. I’m incredibly proud at what our team has been able to accomplish, to put us in a position to work with some great companies, and am very excited about what’s to come for Blue Acorn. Partnering with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) is yet another signal that Blue Acorn is successfully delivering on our mission, and I look forward to another seven years of sustainable growth for us, our partners, and our clients.
