Ticketmaster was started by two Arizona State University students who were looking for a better solution to buying concert tickets. Today, Ticketmaster is the largest ticket distribution company in the United States; distributing tickets for more than 10,000 clients, through over 3,300 outlets, 19 call centers and ticketmaster.com.
Ticketmaster keeps a robust backlog of work, so most of their resources are focused on feature building. Limited resources to setup, build out and analyze experiments were holding them back. Initially, Blue Acorn came on as pure development support for their new optimization program. Soon after, they realized that running a full A/B testing program was going to take more effort than they imagined. They needed a partner. The ability to learn and leverage new tools was essential.
Part of Blue Acorn’s unique approach is our adaptability. The needs of a large, innovative brand are a moving target; needs that require us to constantly refine and grow our services. Our team was able to align our services against their expanding needs. The relationship evolved from pure development to strategy to qualitative and quantitative feature validation. Pure development support turned into strategy, which turned into mobile web strategy, mobile app strategy, user testing, personalization, and more.
There’s no reason to hire us to reinvent the wheel. Our partners make it possible for you to access features and functionality that would otherwise cost you more than a private jet.
