Meet us at Connections 2018

Everyone knows Dreamforce is the pinnacle of all software conferences. If you are lucky enough to have attended, you know Salesforce does an incredible job taking over an entire city for a few days spreading the word of their anti-software, cloud solutions.

This year they are mimicking that fanfare for a retail-specific event called Salesforce Connections (link https://www.salesforce.com/connections/)  in Chicago. Several times we’ve heard it compared to a ‘mini Dreamforce for retail’ and we think it’ll live up to the hype.

In years past, the Blue Acorn team has attended Demandware Xchange to meet with clients, partners and friends to learn the latest and greatest of the product. This year, as the first official year as a Salesforce partner, we’re excited to experience a whole ‘nother level of fun!

Salesforce Connections is THE digital marketing, commerce, and customer service event of the year– a must-attend event for everyone who wants to learn how to connect with their customers in a whole new way. Here are a few things we’re looking forward to:

Commerce Track

As the reigning Commerce Cloud Partner of the Year, it’s no surprise that our team signed up for all of the Commerce tracks sessions first.

Commerce isn’t only about the conversion or transaction anymore. It’s about the entire experience from marketing to a transaction to service. Brands must rethink the commerce experience – how to invest in it and how to thrive. Find all the Commerce focused tracks covering topics like mobile, personalization, developer innovations, and the future of commerce here.

Consumer Goods Track

We’ve all heard the term ‘digital transformation’ thrown around a lot this year. In a time of increasing customer expectations, consumer good brands have more pressure than ever to create a direct relationship with their loyal users via online stores. Many consumer goods brands are struggling with exactly how to begin this transformation.

A recent report by Adweek reports that nearly 9 out of 10 consumers expect to be able to buy directly from the brand and are surprised when they do not encounter the best shopping and buying experience.

Check out the Consumer Good sessions to see how Salesforce Commerce and Services Clouds can deliver personalized experiences onsite and increase collaboration and productivity across your organization.

And be sure to swing by our booth #538 to meet our sister company,  Brandshop who offers end-to-end solutions for brand digital commerce.

The Killers

As in true Salesforce fashion, they’re throwing a concert for all attendees. This year, The Killers are playing for everyone at the Wintrust area, next to McCormick. You’ll definitely find the Blue Acorn team rocking out in the front row!

Be sure to meet the Blue Acorn team at booth #538!

If you are a merchant attending the event, let us know! We’d love for you to join our private dinner. Email Emily Wilhoit for more info : emily@blueacorn.com
